a. You
must be at least 13 years of age or must have parents’ consent.
b. You must be a Bible believing
Christian and agree with our Statement
of Faith.
c. You
must submit a written testimony and answer a few questions
regarding your faith
as described on the Application page. Keep in mind
that
if you are accepted
your testimony will be posted for all to see on our Testimonies page.
d. You
will be required to complete a 30 day probationary period
before full membership status
is granted. This is known as the “recruit
phase” of
your membership. During this time you will have full access
to the forums and TeamSpeak server. If you make
it to this step, your username
will be preceded
by an “R(BiC)” to designate your probationary
status. Your clan name will appear as follows: R(BiC)YourName
Tips
for successful completion of the recruit phase:
The purpose
of the recruit phase is to give
the {BiC} Admin Team an opportunity to evaluate prospective
members.
Skill on the America’s
Army battlefield is not a factor
in this process. {BiC} is a family first and a gaming clan
second. The Admin Team
is charged with determining whether
a recruit is a good fit for our family, and it is a responsibility
we take
seriously. It is the recruit’s
responsibility to provide the Admin
Team an opportunity to get to know
them.
The best way to do this is by participating
in our forums and by spending time
on our game and TeamSpeak servers.
If we find at the end of the 30
days we have not been given
the chance to adequately evaluate
a recruit, full member status will
be denied and probation will be
terminated.
Another
important aspect is the recruit’s conduct during
this phase. If a recruit can not follow the rules as stated
during their probation we have no expectation they will
follow them in the future. Breaking a clan rule during
probation is grounds for immediate termination and denial
of membership.
Rule
#1: All members must strive to exhibit a
Christ-like attitude.
This includes no profanity, foul language, taking the Lords name in vain, cheating,
or accusing others of cheating without verifiable proof. It also includes treating
members as well as visitors on our game and TeamSpeak servers with respect and
common courtesy.
Rule
#2: All members must stay active in order to remain on
the roster.
This means participating in forum discussions, playing on our game servers
and fellowship on TeamSpeak. We understand that sometimes life dictates otherwise
and exceptions can be made at the discretion of the Admin Team. It is the responsibility
of members to communicate with the Admin Team their situation and desire to
remain on the roster during inactive periods. In the absence of such communication
the Admin Team will consider a member inactive and remove them from the roster.
Rule
#3: Absolutely no cheating or use of exploits is permitted.
Members are strictly prohibited from using cheats, hacks or map exploits of
any kind. This applies to members when playing on any game server. Those caught
cheating will be immediately removed from the roster. Members are also expected
to follow all rules as listed on the {BiC} game servers.
Rule
#4: A member may not have more than one {BiC} username.
It does take some effort on our part to maintain each member. Please respect
this rule and only sign up once.
Rule
#5: Clan ideas, suggestions, & complaints should not
be posted in the forums.
Although
we want to hear your ideas and suggestions, posting
them in the forums can cause undue hardship for the Admin
Team.
In addition, posting complaints
in
a forum is like pounding a wedge into the clan
and will not
be
tolerated.
Please bring any ideas or suggestions about the clan
to the Admin Team via PM.
Rule
#6: Do not give out any passwords without prior permission.
Members must receive prior approval before inviting friends or relatives onto
our TeamSpeak server at any time or our game servers when locked for practice.
Members should also always keep their account password private. Members will
be held responsible for the misconduct of others to whom they have given access.
Rule
#7: No member may belong to another clan.
Whether
you have additional AA accounts or not, we require
that you only belong to Brothers in Christ.

3. Disciplinary Action
Although
the Admin Team reserves the right to take any disciplinary
action it deems appropriate, there is a general procedure
in place for when disciplinary action is required. It is
based on the number of offenses:
First
Offense. Written Warning
A
member found to have broken a rule will be notified in
writing, via PM or e-mail, with an explanation of the
errant conduct
as well as any corrective action that may
be needed at that time.
Second
Offense. Suspension/30-Day
Probationary Period
A repeat offender will be suspended from the use of the forums,
game and TeamSpeak servers. The length of the suspension will
be based on the nature and severity of the offense. Upon completion
of the suspension, a member must post a public apology on the
message board forums. He will then be placed on a 30-day probationary
period and allowed to participate as a full member. Any misconduct
during that period will result in the immediate and permanent
removal from the clan.
Third
Offense. Immediate and Permanant Removal From
{BiC}
