I have two loving parents who showed me the way to Christ from when I was a little child. Personally I have accepted Him as My Saviour and my King. I still see, every day, that I need Him more than anyone else. I praise Him for making free the way to His Father, and that I may see Him as my Father also. |

Hello my name is Tim Verdouw from the Netherlandsand i am 28 jears old
As a child i was raised up in a christian familie. As a child i believed in God. But when i grow older (like 12 jears of age) i joined the wrong friends. I slipped back. Went to the pubs, drinked a lot, and began to use softdrugs. On that time i was a DJ in the local dance palace.
I always knew that God was real and i began to feel verry empty inside.
I had no real joy anymore.
On a moment i begin to dream to be a DJ for christian fokes. To preach the gospel to them and their unsaved fokes. (i wasn't saved yet on that moment) and begin to pray to God every night. This was the beginning of my coming back to the Lord.
I broke my relationship with my girlfriend because i know that it would not work if we stayed together. I would live for God and she doesn't.
Then my brother asked me to come to the youth that evening en i joined him. That evening i did the sinners prayer and got totally saved, PRAISE GOD!!! I was saved and filled with the holy spirit that night.
The nice thing is that a few weeks later my old girlfriend accepted Jesus also as her Lord and Saviour and now we are merried for almost 6 jears. I know sometimes preach in our church, and i am a assistand youth leader.
That was the short version of my testamony.
Greetings
Tim Verdouw

I would have to say I believed myself a Christain for several years without being one. I had learned to play the game in the Baptist church. One night in early 2001, I realized that I was trusting in a prayer and not Christ. I believe that was the time of my new birth. Why do I live for Him? Because I must; I have no choice but to follow where He leads. Christ had called me, and I belong to Him. |

When I was about 6yrs. old mt mother helped me ask Jesus into my heart. I knew I was not supposed to sin but I did not know what it meant to be a Christian so I went to little kids church and read my picture Bible and understood why. It is because God loves us all and wants all of us to aceppt him as Lord and Savior. Now knowing that, I am still going to church, reading my real Blble, and witnessing. Everyday I learn more about him and grow in him. |

I was lead to Lord while i was young. I think i was four.....I was saying my prayers with my father before bed and he said "do u want jesus in your heart to live with you?"(or somthing along those lines) I said yes and pray that He would live in and with me for the rest of my life. I now regularly attend my church and go to a Christian school |

When I turned 7 yrs. old, my father asked me if I wanted a new life. I sayed yes. The next Sunday I accepted Christ into my life and was baptised. At the time, I went to a Non-Denominational Church.
Over time, my life fell apart. I started smoking, cursing, and got drug into pornography. I am here today willing to testify that by the Blood of Jesus, I have been set FREE of all three.
I now goto a Baptist church in Western KY, and it is because of the people at this church that I went in search for a good Christian Based clan. I believe that now I have found both a church home and a clan home. |

Okay, More then 25 years ago (I'm not telling how many more) I took the view of 'everyting' being a system of systems, much too complex and orginized to be random chance...and through seeking the answers came across a group of young adults who ministered to kids in the neighborhood. Through many conversations I came to realize the truth of christianity, and one evening I was challanged to accept Christ. I mulled it over, wondering how I should reply, but all the evidence pointed towards the truths...all sinners...God's hollyness...no way to reconcile except His plan, ultimatly justified by Christ's death instead of my own...and bam! That was that. The how comes into the machanics, prayed to God to give me what these other folks had...and wammo! Holy Spirit time. :D Been reading and listening and learning ever since.
A previously Muslum friend of mine once told me he's "amazed at the truth of Christianity" and I every time I compair the big answers to who we are, why are we in the state we are, and where are we going, I completly agree with him. |

I grew up in a Lutheran home. I knew of Jesus but didn't know Jesus. Because of that I didn't have any real faith and did things my own way. I started college after high school and I wasn't disciplined enough so I joined the USMC. I didn't find what I was looking for there - an emptiness that couldn't be filled. I got married in the USMC and got divorced shortly after. After I got out of the Marine Corps, I went back to school. I got into a lot of things and a lot of trouble that I shouldn't have.
I graduated from college about 5 years ago, I was living the "American Dream" and was at the most miserable point in my life. Around that time, is when I reach bottom. I was tired of everything including dating which I was doing a lot of. I prayed to God about it (one of those types of prayers you shouldn't prayer but he answered it anyway). That day I met my wife. She was different than any of the other women I had dated before.
She had a lot of profound questions and beliefs. She introduced me to a coworker and asked me to meet him when a track she played for me on divorce struck a chord. I was in need of forgiveness for everything I had done. The morning I met with him, Dec 4th, 2002, I gave my life to Jesus. My life has been devoted to Him ever since. |

\"We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him\" (Romans 5:7-8, The Message)
\"Look at me. I stand at the door. I knock. If you hear me call and open the door, I\'ll come right in and sit down to supper with you.\" (Rev. 3:20, The Message)
As a young child I had many exposures to Jesus Christ and even as a pre-teen took a confirmation class; however, no invitation to receive Christ by faith as my leader and forgiver was ever given. My junior year and college years were characterized from an intellectual drift from deism to atheism and to a full-fledged pursuit of hedonism and sensuality.
During all of this, God used my grandmother, the prayers of my parents, and my best friend in college to point me toward him. Despite Chirst\'s call to me I denied and resisted anything to do with Him.
After graduating from college, I continued my all out pursuit of hedonism. This period of my life was all about barstools, babes, and brass rings. I wished to have a job that paid lotsa money and lived according to the philosophy of \"whoever dies with the most toys wins.\" It was a life of all pleasure with no purpose.
In 1998, this life came to a screeching halt because of a broken marriage because of mutual infidelity. Among the wreckage, I was a wounded man with a lack solid foundation for life, friends who encouraged me to medicate my pain on a bar stool, and mired chest deep in the pit of despair. That is until I found the solution.
At my wits end, in a hotel room on a business trip, in June of 1998, I cried out to God, \"I have been at the helm of my life and wrecked the vessel. I cannot live with this pain. Please take the helm of my life for I have made a mess out of it, I need you to give leadership to my life, and please forgive me of the sin in my life that has resulted in a trail of wreckage and destruction. I opened the door and he has changed who I am, what I am about, and where I am going.
The transformation has been an adventurous odyssey since then. God transformed my life by his gift of grace. He changed a closed mind to an open mind--I am more intellectual curious about many things than ever before. My life is more about how much of it I can give away rather than pursuing power, pleasure and possessions. He has replaced these with healthy partnerships, a new family with two marvelous children, and a vocation in full time ministry. I now have a greater rest and joy about life that is too immense to put into words!
The door upon which Christ knocks only has a handle on one side of the door--on yours. Yours is the only side it is on, will you open the door today?
Joyfully Resting in Christ,
WisdomSeeker
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

I too grew up Catholic. We were CEO Catholics. That is, we went to church on Christmas & Easter Only (CEO). I guess growing up that I never really ever thought about going to heaven or who Jesus was. I never questioned that either ever existed, but didn't ever really think about them either. I grew up in a family that moved every couple of years because of my dad's job so I developed the ability early to depend on myself for making things happen. I was always looking to others for gratification and fulfillment. As I got older (in high school and college), this freedom and dependence upon peer recognition found me experimenting with alcohol and recreational drugs. None of this every produced any long-term fulfillment. This went on throughout my life and early into my marriage. My life never had any purpose or meaning.
In 1993, my wife and I met a family that showed us there is more to life than what I had ever understood. In August of 1993, I had a life changing experience when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior.
Since that day, God has showed me His love in so many ways. It's hasn't always been easy. There were many issues in my life that I needed to give to God to help me clean up. I have continued to grow over the past 12-˝ years with struggles and many victories in the process. I know now that my life does have a purpose and meaning. The greatest thing is that God has forgiven me and freed me to live without worry and fear. I know without a doubt that when I die I'll go to heaven. I also have the privilege of knowing my wife and three kids will be there with me. |

I grew up in a catholic family, and I still live in one. I've been taught about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit since I was young. From 1st-7th grade I attended a Catholic school, where I was taught that salvation came through works. The kids there were also mean, used foul language, and were quite disrespectful (most, anyway), so in 8th grade I moved to a Christian school. I opened a bible the first day of classes, unlike my old school. I learned to accept God's grace because of my teacher at this new school, he taught me the Truth about God's word, and I accepted it. I am now going into my senior year of High School, and I am eager to share my faith with my unsaved friends. |

I was raised in a christian family and when I was about five I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior mainly because my parents wanted me to; however, when I was about 16 I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior again because I knew that I needed him more than anything else and I decided that I never wanted to live without him as my source of strength and redemption. I have great plans for my life that, I believe, are really His plans for my life and He will be my guiding light no matter what the hardships. |

I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior one evening when I was 6 years
old after church. My Aunt was babysitting my siblings and I and I started
asking her questions about the lesson she had earlier that day in Sunday
School. She explained to me that everybody sins and that because of that
sin that I would go to hell when I died, but that Jesus Christ, God\'s
Son, died on the cross for me that all I had to do was believe that He
died for me and ask him to forgive me from my sins that I would b able to
go to Heaven and live with Him forever. So that night I accepted Jesus
Christ as my Savior from my sins. That is why I find it necessary to love God with all my heart, soul, and mind. Because of all that He did for me! |

I was never a strong christian until the movie The Passion of The Christ came out. My parents had always been strong christians, but I never was grasped by until I saw the movie. After seeing that movie and crying lots of tears in the theater. I gave my life to Jesus Christ. I am now in the Marine Corps and have been in for almost a year, and I still believe with all my heart despite all the trials and tribulations I have endured. |

My name is Evan, I'm 13, and I am trying to join, because I have realized, that all of these other clans, curse all of the time, and do other bad things. On the other hand, you guys don't and I see my friend talking to you guys, and you guys seem like good people. To explain how I accepted Jesus, well, one day when I was early 13, I picked up an old Bible that was sort-of a kidâs version that no one in my family even picks up, and started to read it. I got pretty interested and my friend heard that I was reading it, so he gave me a copy of a more grown-up version. It had things in the front of the book that informed me about becoming a Christian, and why I should become one. On that day that I got the new Bible, I decided to become a Christian and accept Jesus. I was in the middle of being 13 years old when that happened to me and I was in 8th grade. I want to continue to follow Jesus because after being educated, I realized all of the great things he can do for me, and how he can change my life. That is why I why I have come to accept Jesus. Currently, I am part of a Youth Group at my church, and try to go to Church as much as I can. Jesus is now a big part of my life, and I read the Bible almost daily. |

I thought I was saved when I was 6 years old but until a few years ago I really wasn't completely sure. When I was 15 I accepted Christ again into my life and am now completely sure of my eternal destiny. I currently attend Fellowship Bible Church and the Accademy there where I am a junior. I am sick of all the watered-down clans who allow swearing and bad conduct, thats why I am looking for a good Christian clan. |

My family has history of knowing Jesus from way back before I was born. I never really met Jesus until I migrated to the US with my parents, who at the time, were none christians. My cousin, who had already accepted Jesus, took me to church a few times, but I never really made a choice until, together with my sisters, all accepted Jesus into our hearts. Pretty soon we were, with other family members, praying for my parents and until 3 or 4 years ago, they decided to make the choice and now almost my entire family in Christian. We all baptised on July 7th, 2001 and been proud Christians ever since. We recently formed a Church, here in Salem, OR. and I am currently enrolled in the church music group so dont really spend that much time in AAO but every bit i can, I do. |

Well i have always believed in god and jesus since i was little...i can't remember when i was told about him the first time, all i know is as i grew, my love for jesus was always there. I do remeber the day i accepted jesus christ in my heart for the first time. I was 6 years old and i was in sunday school and they asked all the kids if they wanted to ask jesus christ into their hearts. at first i didn't because i was shy and afraid of what the other kids would think if i went up there all by myself to get prayed for. this went on for a month. i always wanted to but i was to afraid. Then one night i had a dream about jesus dying on the cross for me, him dying to free me from sin, his ultimate sacrifice to save me. and i thought to myself," jesus did all that for me and i can't even go up in front of 13 kids and accept him into my heart?" so next sunday i went to church...and i waited for the teacher to ask if anyone wanted to accept jesus christ into their hearts like the last 4 weeks....but he didn't....so i raised my hand and overcame my fear and shyness and asked him if i could accept jesus into my heart. he helped me pray and i recieved jesus. ever since then i would talk to god everyday like he was right there with me. i love god and jesus with all my heart. he has given me so much in life. he helped my parents to become christians, he kept me company when i was alone, he protected me from all evil and kept me from giving in to temptaion. |

I know I am a sinner and my righteousness is as filthy rags to God. I can do nothing to earn my way to heaven because "the wages of sin is death." I asked Jesus to save me when I seven years old by asking him into my heart to forgive me of my sin and and take control of my life.
I still sin but I am forgiven and have accepted God's free gift of eternal life through Jesus. I serve God as a leader in my local church youth group and short term missions to spread God's love and message of salvation. |

I was saved at the early age of Eight not wanting to go to hell. As i grew in my walk through the years i started to realize just eactly what it means to LIVE a Chriatian Life. His will not mine a daily claim of Romins 12:1-2. It is a continuing journey one that will not end this side of heaven. As Paul said for me to live is Christ to die is gain. |

The first time I ever remember giving my heart to Christ was way back when during Vacation Bible School... Day after day I would go up and re-accept Him, feeling that as I sinned I lost it. Then during the teen years it was just something that I "was". However, Christ came and touched me anew during Acquire the Fire. While I still stumble, Christ is the foundation upon which I stand. |

But for the grace of God there go I.
I accepted Jesus at age 12 and went to a Christian school. But at age 16 I entered public school where I strayed from God. I started to drink and party. After high school I joined the Marine Corps. After the first gulf war I came back to states only to go back over seas to Okinawa. My drinking got worse and I became an alcoholic. In 1994 I got out and found the wrong crowed again. I got into cocaine and ecstasy. After seven more years I got into crack cocaine. My life went down hill fast. I cried out for help, I knew I need Jesus. My mom prayed for me for 12 years and finally I got saved in 2002. I needed the church and found out I could quit with Jesus help. NA and A.A didnât help much. I found that the church was the real way to go. I have been saved for 4 years and I have been healed 3 times. 1st was the drugs 2nd was hepatitis c I went undetectable (doctors say that just donât happen) and I had a nerve in my leg that was hurting stopped after I was prayed for. I am a bible believing Christian and love the lord. I am charismatic and love to go to church.
Why? Because Jesus is the only way to be saved.
How? My momâs prayers and I cried out for help.
When? In 2002
Thank you so much for starting a Christian clan.

December 1982 I asked Christ into my heart. This was a result of the witness and prayers of two people (and the Holy Spirit), my wife and Pastor Ron.
My wife became a Christian after we were married and was patient in her prayers for me. Pastor Ron was pastor of a tiny congregation in the small, western Wyoming oil-field boomtown in which we lived and was a constant scource of God's light to us both. Thank you God.
It was a cold December early morning, sometime after midnight, after delivering some equipment. I was on my way home when I pulled my company pickup over to the side of the road and called out to Jesus to forgive me for my sins. This decision had been weighing on my heart for weeks. After arriving home I didn't tell my wife about what I had done, but God knew what needed to be done. My wife and I went to visit Pastor Ron and he asked me, "Have you invited Christ into your heart?"
I immediately blurted out, "YES!" and from that moment on my life has never been the same.
Just like any people on this planet my wife (see testimony of MightyKitty) and I have had our good days, our better days and our not-so-better days, but through it all Christ has never failed to provide for our every need when we have turned to Him. Thank you Jesus!

One day at the age of 25 I was overwhelmed with the need to accept Jesus Christ. My wife and I had been attending a small church led by Brother Dewey. He was quite possibly the most understanding, helpful and LISTENING person I have ever met in my life. Until that particular day I had basically wondered through my life. I wasn't really happy with who I was and I was frustrated and lost. Things were chaotic.
Then something that brother Dewey had said months before hit me unexpectedly while I was playing with my two children. The puzzle that I had previously been scared and unknowing of all fell into place. I made a phone call to brother Dewey and asked to see him. Within minutes he was at my home he said he knew why I had called even though I hadn't told any one why I wanted to speak to him. I made the best decision of my life that day and I have been a blessed person many times over since then. |

Before i became a christian i thought i was saved, you could say i was sort of a luke warm christian. but the light turned on about a year ago, when i started going to this awsome church. I really started to listen to all the teachings going on and started to find church fun and really interesting.
Soon after that my church had a new youth team come down from Queensland. I learnt alot from them and really put me on fire for God.
Recently i started up prayer meetings in my school and my plan for next year (2007) is to get my school saved!!!! |

I didn't have anything exciting happen when I was saved. My parent's sat me down at the age of 6 or 7 and talked to me about what Christianity was. My parent's where believers at the time. I accepted Christ that night. Recently confirmed my faith to God at our current church. |

Well where to begin. I first took christ into my life when i was younger, about 14 to 16 i really dont remember. I did it at a camp when i thought i meant it but really i just liked looking at girls and they all did it so i thought sure why not. After that i didnt really live like i should have. I got into alcohol and drugs pretty hard. Then i smarten up and joined the Army at 18, at the time to run away, now i see it as the best choice i ever made, in a sense. I just recently returned from a deployment in Iraq, during which time i cast off god and everything else like it or resembling Him. But since ive returned ive noticed something had been missing, my wife noticed i had changed for the worse and wasnt getting any better. So i sat and thought. And one lonely night in my room i layed awake and tried to think what was bothering me, and i realized i did cast god away from me, and i needed him back. So i laid in bed that night next to my wife, asking god to take me back, let me return to his side and be welcomed in his arms again. I got back into a game the helped me through alot before my delployment, when i was a member of MoG and now i welcome the chance to become a member of a similar group of men in women who do understand what im talking about. Thank you for letting allowing me to share my testimony and if you have any questions please ask, im more than willing to respond |

I have been in church my whole life. I was basically made to go to church by my parents. I first accepted Christ when I was 11. My 8th grade year I went through confurmation which just felt to me as a way to join my church. I kept going to church. I really didn't have that passion for Christ, yet. My 9th grade year I finally really felt I wanted Jesus in my life. I had gone to an Evangelical church's play called "The Passion Play". I sat really close to the stage. It was a show on Jesus' death. At one point, they had Jesus walk down the center of the aisle carrying the cross. He walked right by me and that was when it hit me. How much he did for me and how much I wanted to repay him. Ever since than, I have gone to Christian concerts and watched "The Passion of the Christ" and, of course, attend church every week and all the youth group events. These have been great reminders to me on how much Christ means to me. I have recently started a bible study in my school and sing with the worship team at my church. I am constantly looking for more ways to serve God and this is the next one on the list. I believe. Always in Christ name. |

I first gave my life to Christ at 14 but then proceeded to do whatever I wanted to. I did not have anyone to teach me about a personal relationship with Christ. I had my life fall apart when I was 30 and lost all I had including my marriage. After moving to another state God put someone in my path at a bar and she invited me to church. The first time I went to church they gave an alter call and I went up to ask Jesus back into my life. God restored my life and gave me a new Wife and 2 wonderful step-children and ,ade me a worship leader. He blessed us with a child of our own, something that doctors said could not happen, but we all know that God doesn't listen to them. We have just moved to another state at the Lords leading and are waiting for what He has for us. |

I became a Christian when I was nine, but I did not put God as the center of my life after that. My families all Christian however I did not really feel the need to make my faith my own until five years ago when I started to have some hard times and I had to turn to God. Since then I have been growing and learning to rely more on God then my self which can be a hard thing at times. It is some times hard to remember that I can not do it by my self but I need to rely on God to strengthen me in my struggles. The last few years have been very hard but by trusting in Him I have been able to move through the difficulties in my life. I am continually grateful and amazed that God would give so much for someone like me. I pray that others will be able to see what He has done in me and what He can do in them. |

I was born in a Christian family. I had known many children's songs and never quite understood them. One night (when i was 6 years old) my mother explained all of these things to me. I had come to know the Lord that night and found out even greater things later on.
I currently go to Immanuel Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas, and have been a member since kindergarten. We have a VERY large church, and recently had a new sanctuary built. My Pastor, Terry Fox is so cool. Well you can find out more about my church at www.immanuelbaptistwichita.org. |

Raised as a Catholic in California by my parents. I came to North Carolina in 1994 to do some work and met my now wife. I couldn't explain why a California surfer boy would just up and leave a place that I was all about. But one day while in church, at a southern baptist church, I realized that it was God who brought me to N.C. (the bible belt). Here I have come to realize what I really already knew but never acknowledged. I now try to live like as if it is God's little test for me. Pass or Fail. No good enough or better than most. Just pass or fail. I NOW REALISE THAT WE ARE ALL SINNERS. If we weren't God would have had to send his only son to be torchered and mutalated by his creations. I got saved on Sept 16th 1996 and I feel like one of Jesus' miracles since that day. The blind man that by the touch of Jesus I now can see clearly. If I only had one wish it would be that all of God creatures would feel the same. |

My name is Nate and I am 14 years old, and live in Wisconsin, USA.
I have gone to chuch my whole life, and believe in the Holy Trinity, and that the Bible is Holy and True. When I was young, I thought I needed to do good deeds in order to go to Heaven. I Believed in God, and knew he made the world and is the ruler of the universe. I tried to be a good person and be nice to earn my way into heaven.
When I was about seven I learned at my church that I can't get in to heaven by good deeds alone, but by confessing my sins to God, Believing that Jesus died on the cross for me, and asking Jesus to be my LORD and Savior. I have been a Born-again Christian since then.
God Bless You All! |

I was lead to Christ when i was young, around 10, by my sister. I have grown up in a Presbyterian church and am currently a member of it. I am currently going on sixteen, and am a common participant in most if not all of my church's activities, youth group and otherwise. |

After being a Catholic for years, I started dating a Nazerene. I never truly thought that the Catholic church was right for me. Demanding things of not only me, but of the person who I will one day marry(I do not hate Catholics though, its was not right for me). In September of 2003, after watching a show on the History channel on Aliens and God, I had an awakening. Two years before someone like my second mom died suddenly. It crushed me and I was very angry with God. I cut off all church attendance. After that show I realized that I could not live without Christ as my savior and by my side. That night I spent praying and talking with God about why I turned my back on him and how I dont want to do that anymore. From that night on I have walked with him and have not turned away down a wrong path. |

I came to kow Jesus Christ as a child but never acted on the grace of god untill much later in life. I started a new job and everyone there was a strong beleaver(the boss was a childrens minister, the second in command was a decon at his church, and the other employee was a casual beleiver) they were constintly talking about the things they read in the bible and how it was affecting there life, my curiosity was challenged. I started reading it my self so that i might understand what they were talking about, I made it threw Mathew, Mark, and started on John and thats when it happend. Conviction was upon me and I knew I could do nothing on my own to change the things that God was dealing with me on so I started going to church to learn more. About 2 months and now into Acts I feel to the ground in much sorrow and ask Jesus to help me and I realized that I needed to put him first (He was somewhere below famly friends and drugs) that day my life changed from the moment that I asked for forgiveness my life was not the same. The things in my life that was first slowly started changing and so did my disires to the point that i could not get enough of the bible and spending time with God. Without even realizing I quit drugs and all the other things that was messing up my life went away. I beleive that it was the power of God manafest in my life that has caused all of the good changes in my life (mentaly, relationships, friends, famly, and finaces). In my wildest dreams I never thought it could be so good to be a Christian.
Thank God for all the people that you have sent to influence me in the best decision I have ever made!!!!
Thank you Jesus for the sacrafice you made for all of us, and saving me. |

I was lucky enough to be born into a christian home. At a young age I was influenced by my parents love for another, and their love for christ to become a christian. My parents did not force this upon me because it was a decision for me to make, not them. As I grew in age, the world and its influeces took its tole on me, I grew farther and farther away from christ until 8th grade. Spring of my 8th grade year, my father and I went on a mission trip to Honduras. In the weeks leading up to this mission trip I was involved in big group and small group discussions, these dicsuccions began to slowely turn my heart around. When I arrived in Honduras, I was in shock. Their was an unbelievable amount of poverty and crime. I was staying at a orphange where we were working and across the street people were living in shacks and yet many of these people had the strongest faith of anybody I have ever seen. My heart was touched by this and I knew that my faith with Jesus Christ was in need of a renovation. As we began working on this orphange the group I was with began to complement my on how great my work ethic was. It was at that point that I knew that god wanted me to work for him in missions and using my work ethic and my working skill, and I knew i needed a better heart for god so that I could fulfill gods wish. At that point I began reading the Word and living my days in conversation with god. |

Hello,
I think I've got a rather cliche Testimony, although that doesn't mean its less than any other Testimony.
I've grown up in a Christian family, and really accepted Jesus when I was about 16 years old.
Really accepted Jesus? Yes, I wasn't a true believer before, you go to church to make your family happy, and it's just a habbit.
After that, my love for Jesus has been growing and growing.
Why? I almost can't explain.
Every day again I come to realise how much he loves me, and how he helps me. How blessed I am, and how little I have to worry.
Actually, I don't worry at all!
When I was 14 to 15 years old, I would worry me sick (litterally). I had to take some pills and such but nothing helped to get my self-esteem/anxiousness higher/less.
The only thing that did help was prayer. And boy how it changed me! Now I even give testimonies in Church!
Another why is the Church itself. The love for one another you experience there is overwhelming and you get encouraged by eachother so much.
After reading this, it does sound like a cliche Testimony indeed, but it comes from my heart.
Blessed be Your name!
Michael
PS: I'm from Belgium and my native language isn't English. Sorry for the typos!

3. You needed salvation because...
Adam sinned in the garden of Eden
You had sinned before God
Christ is the only payment for sin
All of the above
-> I need salvation because I have sinned before God, and because of Adams sin indeed. But I can't understand the following: "I needed salvation because Christ is the only payment for sin" ? He is the only payment indeed, but that isn't the reason why I need salvation? I'm a little confused here :/ |

I believed in god for all of my life, but i was not really introduced to the real meaning of being a christian until a couple of years ago. I moved to a new city and began attending a new church where the pastor taught about needing to accept Christ as your lord and savior to really be saved. After thinking about it for a week, i decided to go up during the altar call the next sunday in church and i never looked back. Asking Jesus into my life was the smartest thing i ever did. I want to follow Jesus because i know that he is always going to be beside me wherever i go and i can always turn to him for guidance and help. |

I grew up in a Baptist home. My parents were active in youth ministry and missions. I was baptized at 14, but I was just going through the motions. It was very conservative and empty.
I met my wife (preacher's daughter) and began going to church and youth functions with her. I began to see what true christianity was about. I truly accepted Christ and was baptized. I knew that this time was real because I could feel the Holy Spirit working in me.
Since then, I have found many places to serve and it has been a real joy. I am now a Deacon. What an honor to be able to serve my God and his church body! |

I grew up in the church, but did not know God and neither did He know me. I worshiped my intelligence and my abilities rather than the God who graced me with them, but Jesus did not come to save the wise of this age, but the lowly. When I was 16, He humbled me in such a way as to take away all that I worshiped apart from Him. It was Jesus Christ who created the world and predestined me for adoption before the foundation of the world. Christ gave me salvation and I repented of my sin of unbelief. It is now my duty and love as a slave to Jesus Christ to serve Him for the rest of my days in all that I say and do, for He is my Lord, Savior, and Friend. |

I have known God all of my life. I have been in church since I can remember. The journey has been up and down for me but God has always shined through in my life. God has always helped me overcome the struggles in my life and I give him all the praise for that and more. I look forward to the days to come and when it is over I look forward to meeting him face to face. What a glorious day that will be. :) |

Salvation
I was saved on May 10, 1972, just a few days before my 7th birthday. My dad ran a gas station and allowed truck drivers from the area to park their trucks there when they were in town. One of these truckers was a Christian and had often asked my dad to go to church with him. Finally, after much persistence, Dad agreed and we joined John and his family in attending a revival meeting at their church. It was an old Methodist church (both in facilities and doctrine) with a Baptist evangelist preaching. The preacher that evening brought a message on Hell. During the invitation, my dad went forward and one of the altar workers began to deal with him about salvation. After a few minutes I too realized that I needed to be saved and began to cry. My mom asked me what was wrong, and I told her that I needed to be saved too. I went forward and someone took the Bible and showed me the Romans Road; that night I prayed and trusted Jesus as my Savior.
Call to the Ministry:
I surrendered to preach while serving in the U. S. Air Force. We were stationed in Rapid City, South Dakota and attending Bible Baptist Church. While I had been open to the Lordâs will ever since high school, I had never felt a âcallâ to the ministry. During a Sunday evening service in August of 1988 the Lord impressed upon my heart His desire for me to preach the gospel. I willingly and happily announced my decision to my pastor and church family.

I first became a Christian when I was four or five. I have been raised in Christian house and taut about God all my life. I believe in God because that is what I have been taut to believe and it is the best thing I have been taut.
I rely on god daily to help me through all trials big and small. I have found that I a stronger relationship with God when I am doing more bible studies with Christian friends, than just trying to study the bible by my self, because I get more out of the bible with them.
Another reason I believe in God is that he has and is always showing that he is real and he is all we can rely on. I hope and pray every day that I will never tern away from God and that I can be a witness to those around me.

When my father was killed in an accident, I began to question if he would go to
heaven, in turn myself. Even though I had been lead down the 'Romans Road', some 10 years before, I never accepted Him into my heart. What kept me from being His servent was that I felt that I needed to be willing to do whatever He asked. I wasn't ready to go that far. He brought me to my breaking point. I was in a stressful positoin at work. I was physically overtasking myself and was making mistakes. I started to pray on my way to work, " God, help me make no mistakes today." I noticed on the days I prayed things went better. I finally reach a point that I said "Lord, I will do
whatever you ask of me!" That was 5 years ago. I am currently very involved in my church. |

I was born into a Christian family. I'm sorry to tell you that I can't remember exactly when I took Jesus as my Savior. I believe in everything the Bible teaches and I pray to Jesus often. I try to do my best to not sin, but I know that I can't save myself. I understand that I need Jesus, and I have taken him as my Savior for that reason. I hope that through this clan, I can serve as a witness to the large crowd of lost people that plays AA. |

I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal lord and savior when I was 8, by acknowledging that I was a sinner and as such had no hope of eternal life. Instead I was facing eternal damnation. I accepted that Christ died for my sins, was buried and on the third rose again in triumph. My christian walk has been a series of peaks and valleys. I Love the Lord with all my being. My only desire is to serve him for the rest of my days. |

I was very young (I think 4 or 5) when I asked Jesus to enter my heart.
My parents were a very big part of that. They would read the Bible with me, pray with me, and tell me what Jesus had done. One day my mom asked me if I would like to ask Jesus to save me, and I said yes. She helped me through the prayer, and ever since, she, and my dad, and my sisters and brothers have always been there for each other, to talk, or to pray, or just to be there for each other. And even though I have a lot going on right now (high school, work, etc.), Jesus is still the biggest part of my life. |

In Jan 1989 i got temp. custity of my two young sons that where in 1st and 2nd grade at the time and needed a after school sitter. Freinds of mine told me of this friend of their\'s that sat children. they said she was a little werid (IE Jesus Freak). Well i was brought up in church so that was abig plus on the security check. At this time in my life I Knew iwas missing something in my life but did not know what. I would pickup my boys after work and would talk to Diane (The Sitter) for a little bit each night , soon it was two hour talks, then dinner the she invited me to go to church with her. I loved this teacher of the word that i met . and on Nov. 26th 1989 Execpted Jesus into my Heart and every aspect of my life. Its tough from time to time but i know where to turn for the little things and the tough. (Foot note) Diane and I cellebrated are 15th aniversery this year. Thank s to God in his plan. |

I was born with a hole in my heart and God healed it before I was a year old.
I believe it was because of my parents and churches prayers that He healed my heart. As you can guess I have grown up in a strong Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ when I was 7. I was baptised on June 16th in the ocean. We go to church every Sunday and I love God with all my heart. My mom and dad say I have a kind and giving heart for God. My older brother is Knotts from BIC and always says good things about the clan which made me want to join. |

on april 11 i was 8 yrs old and i was having these horrible dreams and i couldnt sleep so my dad who was also the pastor of my church, came into my room and he asked me why i couldnt sleep and i answered him he said,"you know son i know of someone who can help you" and i said well who is it, and that was the night i accepted jesus christ as my lord and savior. a few yrs later my best friend came to me one day before church asked me if i would come to the alter with him to rededicate his life so that day during servous he walked up to the pastor (my dad) and asked him to help me rededicate his life and he did and that why i love being a christian to help others in there daily walk and to tell them about the savior what he has done for their live even though they did not know that. i love following the lord because even when you think hes not there he is and that is the best feeling of all. |

I have been going to church all my life but when I was about five I asked my dad what it was to be a Christian. He told me that to be a Christian I had to personally believe in God and accept him into my life as Savior and Lord. I told him that that was what I wanted to do and he prayed with me. Since then I have been trying to grow closer to God through: reading my Bible, Praying, Attending Church, Going to Youth Group and going to a boys discipleship and sharing my Faith. Though I sin daily I know that God's mercy is everlasting and he forgives me of my sin. I want to follow him because I know that earth is not my home, heaven is, and that nothing on this earth will satisfy, only a relationship with the one true God will! |

Since I was born I was raised in a Christian home. As the second to youngest of seven children, my single mom always showed her love of Christ by demonstrating it day by day in the way that she lived. I never understood what it meant to be a "Christian" and thought that since i was raised in a Christian home that I was automatically saved. When I turned 12, I really started wondering what it really meant and what was required to be saved. I went to church faithfully ever since i could remember, I attended BSF every year, and all my siblings were very true and real about their faith. One night, as I was talking to my mom about it, she told me what Christ had done to be able to offer me the priceless gift of salvation and as of Dec. 3 1999, I have been holding on to the hands of God as we walk together down the road of life. |

I was saved when I was 2 years old. I was led to the mainly by my mom. Since I was young she would occasionally ask me whether or not I truly understood my decision to trust and believe in Jesusâ death and resurrection. A few years later at night she asked me again (Oy!) and I said âI already did that.â Now I know and believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, that he sacrificed his life on the cross meant for me because of my sins, and then on the third day he rose again! So I may be with him forever and ever. That is what I believe.

For the first 20 years of my life I grew up in a family that was religiously split (Father was "Catholic", Mother was "Methodist") so we tended to avoid the topic except on the usual holidays. For a time we attended church regularly on Sundays but that soon changed when the priest moved the English mass from our usual time to the earliest hour. This caused our family not to attend church very often. I was fine with this at the time because I would just as soon sleep than go to mass. Sundays became just that, a day to sleep in and please ourselves rather than our Lord. Although my parents taught me basic morals and how to be a gentleman, they never explained to me the importance of knowing our Lord Jesus Christ and I'm not sure they know to this day. I love my parents with all of my heart and I long for them to come to know Christ the way that I have been allowed to do. During the first year of college I was hanging out with my teammates more often than not while playing football at Baylor. Long story short, I spent about a year at Baylor hanging out with these guys and was a frequent at parties and bars. Although I never did anything "wrong" in the world's eyes, looking back now I know I was not
walking in the Light. In fact, I was far from it, fulfilling my sinful nature as it were.
2) The specific details/circumstances surrounding my commitment to follow Christ:
During my first year in college I met Rachel, now my lovely wife, and things started to change from this point forward. We began dating and I then had the wonderful opportunity to meet her family, whom had the most profound impact on my life. Rachel and her parents were an extreme influence in my life and changed it forever. God used them to change my heart and I began to see my Lord and Savior in a new light. One night while driving back from a movie with Rachel, a strong peaceful
feeling came over me and I began to cry. Somehow I knew what I was to do with my life and it was to give it all to Christ and let Him become my Lord and Savior. All I can say is that the Holy Spirit must have begun His work on my heart at this point. I began studying the Bible with Rachel's parents and was soon baptized in Crestview Church of Christ in Waco, TX.
3) How my life has changed since I became a Christian:
I now have a great reverence for the Word of God. I can feel the spiritual battle that exists within me and struggle with it daily. I have been made aware of the awful sin that my flesh is consumed with and long to rid my body of it. Previous to my conversion, I never felt a sense of spiritual attack. Now, on the other hand, I can sense the spiritual battles that are
around me every single day and am constantly bombarded with temptation. I fear the Lord and have no idea as to why I'm worthy of His grace. I long to live each day to His glory and to further His kingdom by spreading His truth to all I come into contact with. I now see the evil nature that this world has to offer and I long for the return of our Lord. I can say that I have seen a decline in the sin in my life and can't wait to experience freedom from it on the day of glorification.
All glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ forever and ever. Amen. |

Well I grew up in a Christian home and my closest family are all Christians, and most of my extended family too, so I grew up in a good environment. When me and my mom were doing our morning devotions ,on november 13 when I was 8, the subject was on personal relationship with God and after it was over I just felt convicted of not having him in my life. I got down on my knees and prayed with my mom to accept Jesus into my heart. About 1 year later I started to really understand what believing in God meant and I started to grow from there. And now I'm am proud to profess Jesus as my Lord and Saviour!!! |

I was raised in a Catholic home, where my Mother was the spiritual leader. My dad did not have any interest in the church. I entered the military at 17. While in the Army, I was involved in many different sinful things (alcholhol, pot, adultery). I was pretty much a scumbag. But God all along had a plan for me and kept me safe for the 8 yrs I was in. The first time I heard the Gospel was at a memorial service for a pilot in our unit that had died in a crash, but being that I was young and deep in sin, didn't pay any attention to it. After 8 yrs of wild~child lifestyle, I felt that I was missing out on so much more and decided without much thought at all that I was getting out of the Army. I believe that at that memorial service is when God planted the seed and started watering it. Any way, I left the military and took a job at the local car dealership, while waiting for a better job to become available. This is where I met the person who would change my life, my wife of 12 yrs now. Ironically, you see, her whole family is saved!! Long story short, God planted in me the desire to leave the Army, made this job available, and put this family into my life. I started attending church with her and her family, first as a curtisy, then because I wanted to, I liked going! We were married 3 yrs after starting to date, and soon after that, at our kitchen table Pastor Tom Stevens led me to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I will eternaly be grateful for what my wife and her family did for me and most importantly Jesus, my LORD and Savior, for paying the ultimate price for my sins. I was born again November 1996. Today, I am in charge of the maintanence ministry and involved as an usher, sound man and many differant layman positions at our church, Lighthouse Baptist Church. All for the glory and honor of God. |

I have been blessed to have grown up in a Christian household. When I was very young, I used to watch Donut-Man type videos all the time. One day I informed my parents that I "did not want to have a hole in my heart anymore". I may not have fully understood the gospel then, but over time I've grown.
Now I understand that I am a sinner, and because of my sin God will not be around me. His justice demands that I be punished, but because He loves me so much He found another way. He sent His Son to come and live a perfect life. When the time came He died for me, in my place. I should be the one who died, not Him. Thanks to His sacrifice I can be saved. There is nothing found within me that makes me worthy of such a sacrifice. God's love is the only reason I am saved. |

I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior one evening when I was 6 years old after church. My Aunt was babysitting my siblings and I and I started asking her questions about the lesson she had earlier that day in Sunday School. She explained to me that everybody sins and that because of that sin that I would go to hell when I died, but that Jesus Christ, God's Son, died on the cross for me that all I had to do was believe that He died for me and ask him to forgive me from my sins that I would b able to go to Heaven and live with Him forever. So that night I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior from my sins. |

Well, I was born into a Christian family in 1990. Before I turend 6, I thought of church as just a thing that we went to on Sundays and thought nothing of it. But then in 1996 my family found out my mother had thyroid cancer. Hopes weren't high for her survivial but I turned to God for help. I prayed A LOT when she was in the hospital. She had surgery in 1997 and she survived. I learned that there really was a God and he made a difference. Since then my faith has flourshed. |

In 1980 my husband and I lived in a small boom town where it was very hard to find homes. Because we worked for a good company we were able to buy a Mobile Home and had a place to park it. My sister had become a Born again Christian and told a paster friend of hers about the work found in Evanstan and that she was sure we would welcome their family to live with us for a short time. They came over to me us and started telling me about God and the end time that were coming. I couldn't take it all in and even got angry about what they were telling me. But it sank into my heart and after they left I asked my sister how I do this thing they were talking about. She helped me say the sinners prayer and I felt the Holy Spirit of God just wash over me. I jumped with joy and laughed and acted so silly, but I know now that it was the spirit that was with me.
I wish I could say that my walk with God was without trouble or problem after that, but it wouldn't be true. I had to learn who God was and what He wanted from our lives. My hubby and I got laid off our job when they cut back on oil production and had to move to find another job. There were none to be found. He tried everything, but finally went to school. It was so hard because there was just no money. But I have to say that in looking back God provided so wonderfully because we never went without. That was years ago, but still to this day we have never been without what we needed.
2 years ago I almost died and found out I have a non alcholic Terminal Liver Disease and was told I had 2 to three years to live. I didn't take it well and got so mad at God, but He never left me. I've had to have a few surgerys and I remember so vividly the first one Jesus stood by the operating table the whole time. He told me he would always be with me and would walk through this whole thing with me. He would be there when I was hurting as well as the good times. I have to have tests every three months and am homebound because of my immune system being shot. My spleen is very bad and takes all my white blood cells, but Praise God I have never gotten sick like I could have. Jesus is there with me protecting me from all that could go wrong. I truly believe in a healing Saviour. I'm not completely healed yet, but I'm better than I was and I'm still here over 2 years later and feeling so good. My liver counts are good and getting better. Now don't you think He is with me?
Because I'm homebound I play games a lot and found AA a few weeks ago. I'm looking for an active group that can keep me busy and I realise that your group is Brother in Christ, but I do Pray you have room for a Sister who loves to work for the Lord.
May God Bless you all and no matter what the decision I will accept it. And yes I love the Lord with every thing I have and am.
God Bless

I was raised with by my Christian parents, but when I grew older doubts came on me. But on the other hand I knew the whole thing must be true. Friends and people around me were so certain that I was searching how to find what they had (God be praised for these people). One day God showed me the nature and te very big and the very small things. The universe, so tall and endless, and the ants, part of the universe, all moving. It said to me: "there must be a God". That was the first step to accept the existence of God. I do not know everything, because it's a number of years ago, but this one step, I remember very clearly!
Now I know I'm a child of God. He loves me and gave His son Jesus Christ, who died to take my sins away. |

Ok Readers digest version,- I am 42 years old born in Philadelphia started using drugs when I was 7 years old. Led a 30 year life of crime and prisons. In 2001 Jan 4 I realized my life was meaningless and that I had no hope or desire to live. I came to know Christ that morning while watching a service on TV. I knew then and there that I could only find the Joy and hope and peace I so longed for in Christ. By God's grace I have been walking with Him for 5 years now and I am a missionary working with at risk youth who live or are heading twords living the life I came from. Praise God for His mercy and Grace!!
Always willing to talk about it, just feel free to ask Bless yous all. |

I have believed in Jesus/God my entire life since I was 4 or 5 years old, however it has been a rollercoaster ride. I have gone through a lot throughout my life. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was in the car with my grandma(haha) driving around in california. I was baptised back then as well. However, we moved to Idaho, and eventually my parents got divorced. I have played games my entire life, not to hide anything until my parents got divorced. So, in hiding my pain i got addicted to games, and eventually pornography. i would look at pornography, and then after that, i would feel bad, repent and feel terrible, but couldn't stop. i would then play games till like 3AM not even wanting to, i was bored, but i was trying to fill my life with games. Then, I went on a mission trip this last summer, i then got a little better after that, i was healed, not all the way, but some what. Satan hit me hard when i came back, and i ended up going to a men's workshop(www.purewarrior.org RECOMMENDED! CHECK OUT!) and it hit me hard, i realized how it all was, and i had already admitted it out loud and cried, and all that stuff before, but i needed another man, to keep me accountable. after all, the success rate is 0% by yourself. after that, i have been on fire about men and their addiction to sexual immorality. There is a lot of statistics out there, and i read the book "Every man's battle" another good book, i really recommend that one, to EVERYONE. So, there you go, that is my testimony. |

I was first saved when I was around 5 or 6. My parents led me to Christ. I have always lived in a Christian home, and my parents taught me the ways of God when I was young.
As I continued to grow, I of course came up with many questions, and even went so far as to question my faith in its entirety. I never disbelieved, I just had serious questions as I started to think for myself instead of just always believing what I heard from everyone else.
Then, when I was about 18 - as I was searching to ensure that what I was believing was true - on a Sunday evening about 6 years ago, I was watching an evening evangelist from Pensacola College that was broadcasting on TV. What he was talking about - the Christian life and what it meant and entailed and how everyone must truly believe it for themselves - just came in loud and clear to me and I realized for myself, truly and definitely, that God did exist, that Christ was God, that I could'nt save myself, that Christ died to pay the penalty for my sins, and that He rose again to prove He had the power to save. I believed it for myself, truly, and from that moment, I rededicated my life to Christ.
Since then, I have been believing in Christ for myself, and have been (through His power), living to be as Christ-like as I can.
I look forward to His soon coming return, and cannot wait to be with Him forever! |

I have been educated with the name of Jesus Christ. It was usual for me to go to the church twice every Sunday. That was all. But my mother always talked to me about Jesus. I know who He was, but I had never thought more about Him. Then, when I was old enough, I was going out in the evening. My brother was going to a bar named: 'De Koffiebar' so I went there too. It became clear that this 'bar' was not a 'usual' bar. I heard about a biblestudy which was every Friday night. I decided to go to that study and I saw there that Jesus was not a handsome, kind man. He gave his life up for me. I was so grateful for this, I wanted to do something back and I remembered what the predecessor in our church always said: "He gave is life for you, give your live to him." I did that and after that moment I wanted to follow Jesus everywhere. I am certainly not a superchristian, but I pray: "Let me follow You, in the right path. In Your footsteps." |

Before I was a Christian I just cared about myself and not other people.
Then I learned about Jesus from Sunday School, AWANA, and my parents. I learned that I had sin that kept me away from God. One day when we were coming home from the store, I asked my dad about Jesus. When we got home, we went into my dad's bedroom and talked about Jesus and why He died on the cross. Then I prayed and asked Jesus to be my Savior.
Since that day I haven't been perfect but Jesus cares for me and helps me change my ways and start thinking more about other people than myself. I like spending time with God in prayer and reading the Bible. |

I have been raised believing Christ is my Saviour... I believe with my full heart that Jesus died on the cross at Calvary for my sins so I may go and spend eternity in Heaven. My Mother a Honduran believes strongly in the Catholic faith and I have been raised going to Catholic masses. It wasn't really up until my 5th grade year until I realized some of the teachings may be wrong for example: Mary is supposedly perfect that is incorrect for the Bible states that only Jesus had been perfect and free of sin... I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour who died to set me free from hell. |

I became a Christian because I realized that a life without God has no true meaning and I could not live my life without Him. I bacame a Christian by verbally admitting that I am a sinner and and asking Christ Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I first asked Jesus into my heart at the age of 5 and reaffirmed my faith at the age of 16. I want to follow God because He is the one who created me and He has a plan specifically for my life. |

I really thought about when I should be saved when I asked my friend Adam Patrick, a member of Bic, to help me with that. It was about 2 or 3 years ago when I finaly decided to ask the lord. Since then, I have gone to church with my grandparents or Adam's family. I respect the lord and understand what is to be done of me, not to interfere with the lord and his book. I want to follow Jesus because I know that is the right thing to do, and I can learn from him. It can make not only me, but anybody a better person. It is somebody, and something to look up to, and forward to. |

I have known Jesus ever since I could understand who He was. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and savior at a very young age and asked Him to come into my heart. He has been with me ever since. As the years went along I have learned to trust Him in everything (job, family, little things) and pray for His guidance and understanding. I went through many trials and disappointments in my life but I always came through with Jesus help. He comforts me in my time of need and helps through the toughest situations. Life is hard but Jesus made the burden light.
Jesus died for my sins and is the source of my salvation. I don't know what I would have done without Him. He forgave me even when I thought I wasnât worthy of forgiveness. I thank Jesus everyday for His unconditional love and His grace. |

In 1982, standing on a bustop a lady asked me if I knew whether or not I was going to heaven. I then realized I was lost and felt that I was missing something in life. I then accepted Christ as my personal Saviour. Ever since then, my life has changed in many ways, I have grown in my walk with Christ. I have also led and am still leading my family in God's Word. |

One day, my family was talking about the Jesus and how to go to heaven. I heard them describing the heaven as written in the Bible. That was interesting. From that day, I accepted Jesus Christ and I go to the church every Sunday. I also felt happy after I accepted Jesus. Now, I can see Godâs work in my life everyday. |

I was 6 years old when I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. I had been going to church all my life. My Mom and Dad were in the room and led me to God. Since then, I've been running toward the finish line. Even though I'm only 15 years old, I have already realize that my parents have been very wise for "controlling" my life. Now that I see what most other people are like, i'm really glad that they did not "let me go". |

I experienced God when i was 11, Dec. 21, at a church youth group. I was going though some bad times. There was a time when i had my back against God and didnt listen to him. Was not very smart move on my part because i was miserable. Bad Grades and makeing friends with the wrong crowd. So my cousin comes up to me one day and asks me if i wanted to attend this youth group called 24/7. Which basically stood for God\'s with you 24/7. I went with him and saw all these kids just bursting with the Holy Spirit. I says to my self i want to be like these kids, i want God back. So service started and we all sang along with the band. Then came the time when Christian, our youth pasteur, came out and and ask for all those who wish to have the Holy Spirit in their heart to step forward and pray. I went with a very big crowd down the aisles to say a prayer. Though that prayer I had accepted Christ as my savior and ever sinced lived like it. |

Growing up in a Christian home I accepted Christ at an early age and then several more times after that. Until after high school, I hadn't really understood what being a Christian meant, so I turned to the Bible. I new the basics from the Bible, but there was so much more, and as I continued reading I began to understand what Jesus was asking of me and what it meant to die to self. So for the past 5 years I have been on a journey of growing in my relationship with Christ and he has been teaching me more and more of His unending love for me. And I have found that the ultimate satisfaction from life is not pleasing oneself but rather pleasing others. |

I have been going to church ever since the day I was born. One day in sunday school the teacher asked if anyone would like to know Jesus personally and I raised my hand and we said a prayer. Ever since that day I have been living for Jesus and I will continue to do so. I have been a christian for 9 years and God has blessed me an many ways. My goal in life is to tell as many people as possible about Jesus. |

When I excepted Jesus to be my LORD and Savior i was 7 years old. My parents really encouraged me to get saved so when I told my parents that I wanted to get saved they were really excited . . . they took me into my room and we talked about it for a couple of minutes and made sure I wasn't just getting saved 'cause they wanted me to. After we were done talking about it I prayed the "Sinners Prayer". And I was saved right there in my room.
Thanks,

Hi all. I was raised in a Christian family. My mother was divorced from my dad when I was 3. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour when I was about 8. I was in a private Christian school, and the pastor gave an invitation. Later that day I went and talked with him. I am now 17 and in the last few years, I have left that church because of some issues in the church, and I joined another small church just a little ways away that a friend of my mother was going to. In this church I have grown in Christ and my faith has been strengthened. I believe that God has a purpose for me and I want to fulfill what he has for me to do. Although I have sinned much, I thank God that His grace is far more abundant than my sin and shame. IF it were not for His grace saving me, I don't know where I would be.

While I was growing up, my parents tought me about God and how He sent His Son to save us from our sins. I accepted Christ as my Lord And Saviour when I was aroung six years old. I wanted to know Christ because I understood that my sin was punishable my death. It wasn't until a few years ago at a youth conference that I really felt God pulling on my heart. After this, I truly put my faith in God. I am now a member of my church. |

Hi fellow Christians,
Growing up in a Christian home, I was exposed to the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ from the beginning of my life. My parents were both saved in their late teens / early twenties, so they were just new at it when I was born. They faithfully took me to meetings and taught me at home how much God loved me. He loved me so much that He sent His one and only Son to die for my sins. I was around 5 years old when I accepted this all-important truth and trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord; from that moment on my life was changed forever. Going through life with your eternal future settled and secure makes life far easier to live. I have had my share of challenges like everyone, but the Lord God is always there to help me through them if I let Him. Now married with a family of my own. I look to the Lord to guide me more than ever, as I try to train my children in the fear of the Lord, so that they will all trust Him (some already have praise the Lord) and serve Him faithfully. To God be the glory great things He has done, so loved He the world that He gave us His Son (a line from my favorite hymn). The Heavenly Father is so merciful and gracious to those of us who are called by His Son's name.
Thanks for reading - God bless,

I was born into a Christian family. I accepted the Lord at church when i was about 7, and was baptized. At that time i really didnt know what it truly meant. After growing up in the church, i Rededicated my life on my own at the big Harvest Crusade in So. Cal. About 6 Months after that, My Family and I were called to the mission field, and were missionaries in Mexico for 3 Years.
Upon comeing back, I was in High School and kinda fell away, Got into alot of stuff i shouldnt have. As soon as high school was over, I decided to get my life right again, and enrolled in Calvary Chapel Bible College. Changed my Life! It has been an ongoing Battle since then, But im fighting, and holding onto Him! |

I grew up Catholic and went to church with my family just about every Sunday. I thought of myself as a Christian but I never fully understood what being a Christian really meant. This is due to the multitude of confusing lies that the Catholic church teaches. In any case, as I was growing up, our family moved around a lot. Every time I would make new friends, we would move and I would lose them and have to make new ones all over again. Needless to say, this started causing problems as I got older and acceptance by my piers was a very difficult thing for me. We stopped moving around when I entered 8th grade but by then, the damage was done. I had a hard time coping with my lack of acceptance in my new surroundings. I just didn't seem to fit in with the normal crowd. The only place I did seem to fit in was with the other "outcasts". The friends I hung out with, though not bad people at heart, were definitely a bad influence on me. I started smoking, drinking, and smoking pot in 8th grade. It was also around that time that I started to develop a few other, rather big, personal problems. I became more and more reckless in my attitudes towards my life and my future. I eventually quit high school and did many more types of illegal drugs. I became worse as time went on. Seeing my friends hopelessly lost to drug addiction, getting in trouble with the cops, and even going to jail, made me think about my own life and where it was headed. I was desperate for something better and I was hopelessly lost in a sea of sadness and despair. I just didn't have an answer. At that point, I broke! I had no place to turn BUT God. He was the only one who could save me and set me straight. After praying and asking the Lord for help and guidance, He eventually answered my prayers. I searched for answers, started reading the Bible, and going online for help. I met a woman online who was once a missionary in Africa. She was my online buddy and we talked quite frequently about my problems and things relating to the Lord. She was my inspiration and she helped me understand that what I really needed to do was accept Jesus as my Savior. She told me I needed to be Born Again. Being from a Catholic upbringing, I didn't fully understand what that meant but we prayed together online, and I accepted Jesus as my Savior on March 20, 1996.
To make a long story short, not too long after this, I strayed from the Lord and eventually started having some problems in my life again. I know that at this point, the Lord was calling me back to Him. I know that He was also teaching me a few important lessons. Shortly thereafter, the 9/11 terrorist attacks occurred and that was the catalyst that prompted me to re-evaluate where I stood in my faith. It was a turning point in my life and made me want to research what the difference was between being Catholic and being Christian. I quickly discovered that I did not agree with the Catholic religion. I have learned so much about Bible prophecy and God's Word since then. And that's where I am today - still learning and growing. Thank you Lord for having mercy on me and helping me to have some peace in my life as well as the promise of eternal life with Christ Jesus. Amen. |

I was raised by a Godly mother and great Dad, although my Dad was not the greatest testimony or leader in our home. Mom worked hard to instill in me the grace, fear, and admonition of the Lord from a very early age. She homeschooled me and my younger sister, which enabled her to spend time with both of us in the Word, teaching us the precepts and love of the Lord.
It took me awhile to grasp the significance and importance of Christ's Salvation. I couldn't believe someone would forgive all my sins without requiring a time out or spanking! In my immature mind, my naughty things that I did that made my Mom cry, or get upset, were the worst things in the world.
We attended a Bible church in Austin, where we lived at the time. The pastor was Dr. Thomas Ice, who became a dear friend of our family. I loved as a child to listen to Tommy expound on the Word of God. He had such a way of providing deep spiritual food, while keeping it simple enough for a child to understand. Soon, I understood what the Lord did for me, and began asking Mom questions about the Gospel, and Salvation. She took me one day into her room, and taking her Bible, showed me everything in the Bible about Salvation, and told me what it entailed, and what I had to do. When she asked me if I wanted to be saved, I was ready!!! I was so happy and blissfully peaceful when I asked the Lord into my heart. Even at that young age, I knew that I had peace that passed all understanding, and became eager to learn more about the Lord. I could barely wait to get baptized, because I wanted so bad to obey the Lord. I was baptized by Thomas Ice near the age of 6 or 7, and since then,! have been walking with the Lord.
After my father died in 1996, I began to mature quickly, as I needed to take on new responsibilities. At the age of 15, I rededicated by life to the Lord, with a renewed passion to serve Him and follow Him. The Lord is my Life, and my Salvation. He is everything to me, and I serve Him with a thankful heart for having saved me and delivered my soul from the eternal death.
I serve the Lord only! That includes the games I play, the things I say, and who I spend time with. BiC looks like sound, Biblical fellowship, and I would be proud and thankful to be a part. |

When I was four my father told me that being good was not enough to go to heaven. I asked him what it took, and he told me that I need to accept Jesus Christ as my savior. My dad explained that this was a commitment to serve and honor God. That night, my dad led me in a prayer to ask Christ in my heart. Since then, I have continued to study the word, memorize scripture and attend church faithfully. |

My acceptance of the Lord as my savior did not come easy. While growing up, My parents took me and mtg 2 brothers to church but there was never any real guidance or follow-up. To me, at that young age, I knew what church was but not who Christ is. When my parents stopped going when I was 12, I did the same. There was no interest for me. Fast forward 5 years, while working for a fast food sub shop, I met a woman who was a manager there. She convinced me to go with her one sunday to Mass. I did. The Priest was talking about the direction the youth of the worls was headed in. It felt like he was speaking directly to me. I remember feeling uncomfortable and a bit scared. At that moment, the sun shone through the stained glass above my pew and the light seemed to land directly on me. I should have felt blessed, but instead i got scared. It was another 10 years before i stepped foot into a church again. I met this wonder woman who whom I am not engaged and set to marry on July 8th 2005, that forever changed my life. After a year of dating and all the sins that go along with it, she felt she needed a change in her life and so she turned to Christ. I did not follow so quickly. She certainly did change. a change of Moral standing accompanied her newly found faith. No longer would she live in sin and with this new life she would live, I could see a spark in here I had never seen before. She was alive and full of love. My heart yearned for what she had and I made the bold step and accompanied her to church. That is a day i would never forget. The nerves and ill feelings were quickly subdued when I was introduced to the Pastor. A warm and gentle man who made it a point to welcome me and make me feel at home like I have never been before. I beleive that Jesus used my fiance to bring me to him. And to that I am forever thankful and promise to walk as He would for the rest of my days.

It seems like I was raised in church. I always took God for granted. I knew all the answers, I walked the walk, talked the talk, but didn't have a relationship w/ God. In elementary school I got saved but there wasn't really a change in my life or growing relationship w/ God. Through switching churches and the death of a friend I realized that God is all that matters in life. I re dedicated my life to him in 2002 and am living for him. GOD ROCKS!! |

In 1979 I was involved in a truck roll over that killed my friend, the driver, & I was critically injured with a skull fracture, but alive (God had & has a plan for me). I got married a year later and my wife was pregnant with our son Clint (who's 23 and wants to join Bic Clan)& she stopped partying and gave her life to Jesus. Well born and raised Catholic & going to private school most of my life I really wasn't into the church thing. So I was still partrying. My wife was going to a Bible Study and I went with her a couple of times. I knew who Jesus was but not really. They had a Bible Retreat & my wife wanted me to go. I was making every excuse not to go but I ended up going & also satan tried every way to keep me from going. My wife and I had a huge aurgument on the way up to the Retreat and almost turn back. Well we continued to go & I had an awesome time. We played Basketball & had a great BBQ, at least that's what I thought at the time. But when I started hearing testimonies of some of the people & what The Lord had done in their lives it just opened up my heart & mind. I could feel the Holy Spirit calling me & later that night when they had an altar call I gave my life to Jesus.
Since then we also have a daughter Carolyn (18 yrs) & God has blessed us so much.
Of course as most of us know, when you give your life to Jesus it's not a stroll in the park, trouble seems to come out of everywhere. But we all know what the final results are going to be in this war we are in with the devil & we know who is VICTORIOUS!!!! Jesus Christ !!! So as long as we put are trust in Him & look to Him for help & guidance we'll be alright. Remember He said that "He would never leave us nor forsake us"
Thanks for sharing and letting me share, James |

I was lucky enough to grow up in a Christian home and was in church from the time I was born. At the age of 5 I told my parents that I had asked Jesus Christ to save although to this day I don't remember asking him to come into my life as my Savior. To be honest I think I was to you to understand. My parents are missionaries so at the age of 10 we packed up and went to Jamaica. It was until 10 years later that I realized I had never truly accepted Christ as my Savior. During that time I had annouced that I had been called preach all as I searched for what I was truly missing in my life. Finally in January of 1994 I realized by hearing someone elses testimony what was missing in my life. I fought it for about two months, mainly because of pride. Finally in March of 1994 I couldn't handle it any longer. I was at a youth group outing and I left to head home and I just knew if I didn't get it settled I was going to make it home. So I turned around and went to the youth pastor's home and that night he lead me to the Lord. Finally I had that peace I had been searching for. |

I accepted Christ when I was very young so I am afraid I don\'t have a big long life changing story. However, The change Christ has made in my life is just as important. Ever since the day that I accepted Christ I can not imagine living any other way. I go to Him with the burdens, both large and small, that I face everday and I know that all I have to do is simply lay them down before Him and allow Him to have control over them. I also know that He will never give me more than I can handle.
God has never forsaken us, and we should all make it our goal to never turn our back on Him. He has offered us the best gift that mankind could ever reciecve, all we have to do is accept it.
"The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower."

Well I know I've said this part of my testimony before but here it goes. My whole life I've been raised in what I thought to be a Christian family. I mean in Christian family because we lived in what my dad taught me and my church, a Christians way of life was like. From this past experience with trying to rejoin {BiC} I realized how much I still needed to learn about being a true Christian. After speaking to Lew I realized I had done what I needed to be saved and have salvation. Also I realized it had appeared at many different times throughout my life starting when I was baptized.
When I was baptized I entered a new way of life and I began to learn more about what a Christian was truly about. I learned how you needed to do specific things within your life to be a Christian and also how just going to church with your family doesn't make you a Christian. I have been saved honestly not at a specific place in time, for me it was over a large amount of time. Often when I was younger I'd get into trouble with friends or just by doing something wrong by myself. After I did one of those I did feel bad and knew I should apologize to who ever I hurt and to God. As I said, I didn't begin to realize what a Christians way of life is really about until I was baptized. So often after I did get sent to my room or later the same night I would pray to God and hope he would forgive me and help whomever I hurt forgive me as well. I wouldn't always just pray once the same night I got in trouble, but I easily prayed for a week each night asking to be forgive for what I had done.
A few years later (Summer of 2002) I found out God had truly watched over me during a time I needed it. It was a cool summer day and my friend and I were back in our forest pushing over large trees. We had been at it for an hour or so and finally the tree began to fall. First everything was going good, the tree was falling away from us and suddenly the upper half of the tree broke and began to fall back toward my friend and I. My life began to move in slow motion as the tree fell toward me. I ended up diving under another tree but I didn't get all the way under. The tree struck me right in my back and right away I began to pray and hope I hadn't broken any bones or been paralyzed. It turned out the big tree just left a hole fairly deep in my back and I still could stand and managed to walk home. Right after I realized I was going to be ok I stopped and thanked God for watching over me and protecting me and my friend. That situation could have easily paralyzed me and put me in a wheel chair but I knew it was not luck, God was there for me. Now this time I wasn't apologizing to him, but I was thanking him for keeping my safe during that experience. To me this shows how he accepted me as a person and protected me in a bad situation.
He was there for me when I needed him and only because I had accepted him into my life as a Christian. I will continue to live the life he constructed for me and do my best to teach others about what being a Christian is all about. |

When I was young, I was rebelious and thought God was boring and not fun. I was was bored of the sermons that were taught at my church and I couldn't wait till I went home. When ever a tornado or anything life threating was shown on the news I took out my Bible and started to pray and read my Bible. But when the next day came I totally forgot about God and everything he did for me.
